There for a wedding. The hor serves were good, but the wedding dinner left a lot to be desired. Main reason was that most of the food was cold. It was served buffet style and was not hot. We didn't stay at the resort, so I can't comment on the rooms, but we did look into them before booking and they were extremely expensive.
We had our daughters wedding at Eagle Waters Resort on October 18, 2025, and it truly was the most wonderful and magical day! Laura and her staff, (extra thanks to Brianna, Abby, Jackie) were beyond amazing to work with! From the moment we booked with them....they were professional, organized, and genuinely excited to help us bring 'our vision' to life! We had the rehearsal dinner there Friday night, ceremony on site by the water Saturday and the reception after! Almost all of our out-of-town guest stayed right on site in the lodge or stayed in the many cabins on the grounds! So convenient! They took care of our every need from lodging help, ceremony and reception set up (and clean up after) along with providing the most amazing food! Eagle Waters Resort will make your wedding or any event wonderful and memorable! So do not hesitate to book with them! My husband and I got married here a few weeks ago and the day was perfect! It couldn’t have been done without Eagle Waters and their staff! The entire weekend ran smoothly, from the rehersal dinner the night before, ceremony by the lake, and the reception that night! It was extremely organized and flowed really nicely! The food and service were great - I have heard great things about both from our guests! I would highly recommend anyone considering getting married here to do so! You won’t regret it!
We recently hosted my husband’s surprise 40th birthday at the resort over Labor Day weekend with a group of 25+ people, and it could not have been more perfect! While we had a small hiccup with booking ahead of time, the resort went above and beyond to make it right—and our accommodations actually ended up even better than we originally planned. Our group ranged in age from 1 year old to 70, and there was truly something for everyone. The supper club was such a highlight—we had a dance party to the one-man band on Friday night that brought back so much nostalgia. The pool was very well kept and became our gathering spot all weekend. On Saturday evening, the resort catered a wonderful birthday dinner and set up tables by the fire pit on the most beautiful night—it made celebrating my husband’s milestone birthday so easy and memorable. We also rented a pontoon nearby and brought our fishing boat, we fished, tubed and enjoyed going in and out of the water all weekend long. Everyone in our group kept saying how amazing the experience was, and we all hope to make it an annual tradition. Thank you to the owners and staff for such a special weekend—you made our celebration unforgettable. This place is truly a hidden gem.
After a long day of tournament fishing my team and I decided to stop over to Eagle Waters for their fish fry and an old fashion or two and were greeted by one of the owners who helped us get a great parking spot right smack dab in front. Pointed us to great bar service and made sure we had tremendous seating. The fish fry was top notch as always. I’m glad to see that the service and the overall north woods feel has not changed. We ate at the supper club for the fish fry. Ordered the combo of both deep fried and broiled. Both were very good and so much food! I brought half my meal home. While we waited, we had (excellent) old fashions in the back bar and listened to the fabulous vocalist. The ambience is a great, nostalgic super club feel with a beautiful patio area if weather allows. Our new favorite spot in the Eagle River area.
Absolutely fabulous accommodations, clean, and quiet rooms with a great view! Theres also actual cabins for rent too if you have a group or family. The restaurant is gorgeous! Its like stepping back in time. I spent half an hour just looking at the decorations lol. Fish fry was amazing, hand cut ribeye was fabulous, and the pizza is better than Chicago, they make the sauce homemade in house. The prime is fantastic as well, a homemade rub is flavored perfectly, and oh boy its juicy. If its busy... expect a wait, but its worth it! Have a old fashioned or 2 at the bar and you won't even notice lol. The bartenders Ive met, Olivia and Bob, are super friendly. There are some gluten free options too! Gluten free pizza is my friend's favorite. Fantastic experience, Ive stayed and ate here numerous times and haven't been disappointed yet. Although summer when they are packed, its a wait... but you get that anywhere in summer!
Our family had booked a cabin with Eagle Waters and shortly after getting situated in the cabin we discovered an unforeseen problem with it. This was at around 2 in the morning. Matt and staff went way above expectations getting different accommodations within the complex for the family members at 2 in the morning. The accommodations were an upgrade from the original accommodations. I think it says a lot about an organization or company when they extend customer service up and beyond what is the norm. That, in is self speaks volumes of customer service! I would highly recommend Eagle Waters. Great people!
